Happy 30th Birthday memory to a beautiful person with an indelible legacy.
On April 27, 2000, my twelve-year old daughter, Christina Machiko (“Machi”), was diagnosed with a large tumor in her abdomen. Further testing just days later confirmed it to be hepatoblastoma, a liver cancer primarily found in children. My life, and the lives of our family and friends would be forever altered as a result of the challenge now faced by this special young woman.
Since her passing on November 11, 2000 Junko, Julia and I have attempted to live our lives as a fitting testimonial to Machi and to the many people we are honored to have as friends and family.
Momma, Julia and I love and miss you with every breath. Thank you always for the strength you give us to continue using our precious lives and gifts to fulfill your legacy.
To Our Beloved Family and Friends:
Please share any memories you have of Machi that can be added to this post. Thank you all for the many years of remembrance and love.
